Proposal

For this project, we are doing a work placement for Aston Martin. We will be designing a flyer for an open evening; the evening is for VIP customers only in black tie and has champagne and jazz. To accomplish this, we will do research by looking at VIP flyers online. We decided to make it in the style of our favourite artists that we have researched in the past and we picked Tim Marrs and Matt Needle.

The process of creation

Here is an illustration of a character I did based on a sketch, we did on a Roxanes lesson while drawing portraits. I scanned my sketch inth the photoshop, did some liquify editings, and started to draw ontop with a brush tool. For a long time. And later colored it with Color layer. I mainly was inspired by Disney cartoon characters and Denis Zilber drawing techniques.

Styles of fonts

The first font represents love, because it is curvy and are widely used for all valentine days cards, packaging and other things.

Second one represents spy, because it is made out of pixels and can be used to simulete and lcd screens on different gadgets and devices.

Calmness is representing itself with beeing simple clean and without any useless details
